HOW WE HELP: We care for children who have experienced or witnessed violence, and we advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children.

OUR VISION: That every child will live in a safe and supportive environment.

The Cheshire School is a registered Specialist Primary School that provides an intervention program to support children who have demonstrated significant social, emotional and behavioural problems in their mainstream schools.

In a supportive and caring environment, we collaborate with a student's family, to help the student overcome the disruptive behaviours that may have become part of everyday life.

Our program develops self-esteem, resilience and coping strategies, facilitating a positive change in behaviour.

This allows students to successfully re-integrate into the mainstream school system, equipped with strategies to cope with the challenges ahead.
